The Sperrin Choir return to the Burnavon
in celebratory mood as they perform their 50th Anniversary
programme, Sperrin Gold! Established in 1975 as the Regan Singers, the
choir has been delighting audiences in Mid Ulster ever since, and now bring a programme that will transport you
on a journey through the various musical styles that the choir has tackled
over the last fifty years. The chosen choral works will seek to honour the
memory of the choir’s former conductors Mrs Margaret Regan and Mr George
Johnston, as well as enthral audiences with songs they have enjoyed over the
last twenty years with current conductor Sam Cuddy. So, join us as History
meets Harmony in Sperrin Gold!
The Friday performance will feature our two Youth choirs Sperrin Kidz
and Sperrin Youth Choir. Sperrin Kidz celebrate ten years and Sperrin Youth
Choir, five years since their formation, so this concert promises to be a
really special evening!
